In response to growing concerns within the non-regulated industry of home staging, regarding the qualifications of stagers, Certified Women’s Business Enterprise, CSP International™ Academy added a whole new level of credibility for their graduates to leverage.

One true measure of a stager’s skill is working in an occupied property, with furnishings they didn’t choose, the size and scale of items not perfect, often with irrational color schemes. Using a proprietary process graduates can create magic – the results of which make for amazing photographs and visual presentation. According to the National Association of Realtors, 90% of people can’t visualize a house beyond what they see in front of them. This is important when 97% of potential buyers start their search on the internet – browsing listing photos.
As of February 2018, all CSP® graduates can achieve their “Residential Staging Expert™” designation by completing three projects after graduation, illustrating complete understanding of the process, submitting photos and testimonials for review to CSP International™. This will be one more level of security a Real Estate Agent and property seller can use to ensure the highest likelihood of securing the most equity from the sale of a property. True certification from a credible, internationally accredited program, is as important for a stager as a real estate license is for an Agent.
Literally, Christine Rae wrote the book on professional staging. It’s called Home Staging For Dummies and has been lauded to be so thorough, it’s the official handbook of RESA, adopted as a textbook for college staging programs in Canada and USA.

The CSP® training and certification program is also accredited by the Real Estate Staging Association®
A numbered, registered certification is awarded upon successful completion of the following standards:
Attendance at all online virtual in classroom instruction,
Full participation at the 1-day hands-on field experience,
Successfully completing the three required proficiency examinations with 75%+ or higher grade
(including practical assessment).
